I'm sorry that people are being mean to you about the way you speak English... Most of us English-speaking people aren't very forgiving when it comes to making mistakes in our language, which I personally feel is unfair given the fact that English is said to be one of the hardest languages to learn.
Anyway, to answer your question, I wouldn't risk trying to be more than friends with the famous guy you like. Since he is handsome and famous, it's only natural that you would be attracted to him, but you should be happy just bring his friend. I'm not saying you don't have a chance, but I know from personal experience that sometimes asking someone to be "more than friends" can backfire and you can lose what you already have.
