  • Aww, I'm glad I could help!:) I was just trying to get across that you aren't the only one. I don't feel the same anymore, and I think it's mainly because I feel quite comfortable with my appearance and it's not something I really feel insecure about now. It helps a lot. But yeah, ease yourself into it if you need to.

It came across a little in you post that you might feel like people will start seeing you differently if you were to dress more girly, sort of. Like you feel you're betraying your style or people will think you're not being "you". I haven't phrased that very well, do you know what I mean? Either way, if that's the case, try to not let that bother you too much. I mean, in a few years it's not something people are going to remember. And you'd only be holding yourself back from what you actually want to do and what you are. Isabella80s is right, something as trivial as this can escalate if you don't deal with it.

Try not to get too disheartened if you try on dresses that don't suit you, that's normal. It does feel great getting clothes that suit you well, though. So yeah, just go and try a bunch on and see how you feel. Happy shopping!:)

    • Yeah, I sometimes get so caught up in what people will think of me if I dressed differently, that I just stick to the same style of clothing now. I mean, I like what I wear but I feel like I'm holding myself back just because I don't like too much attention on myself. I guess that's just something I need to work on. How did you become so comfortable with your appearance, if I may ask?
