I'm confused about ex

So I'm in High School but last year I had my first real girl friend. We went to the same school and we saw each other like every hour. We dated for 6 months and I completely in love with her. She constantly flirted, but I knew she loved me. When broke up twice in 6th months, but the last time it was over. When I broke up with her I still really liked her just not as much and she was the same way. We have had feelings for each other all summer. We still see each other everyday. Is it normal I can't stop really liking her??? I feel like i can't date anyone else in case she says tells me she still likes me. Is this normal???
