Strongly disagree. They always have and always will, for me and everyone else. If it wasn't for sex I don't think people of opposite genders would affiliate much at all. People claim its not about sex because they don't wanna seem shallow, but sex is what their body wants. Whether they acknowledge it or not!
"Highly unlikely" that nowadays relationships exist because of sex. Lol I need to stop talking to you ASAP because I'm losing brain cells by the minute.
Biology is reproduction, we are made of not one cell, but so many, which means we are made to reproduce. But desire is something else than the thing we call love AND attachment. You can love and feel without wanting it all the time, different people feel differently because of that. I would rather choose a person I could trust and that likes me for who I am than someone I’d have sex with all the time.

@Wellyoudliketoknoweh Thanks for the support :) I had plenty of self-doubt...mostly along the lines of what Doesnormalmatter was arguing, and you calmly and logically shot down all my silly concerns. I still don't know if I'm asexual or have a low sex drive or what, but I realized it doesn't matter (ironic, considering Doesnormalmatter's username). My husband and I just celebrated our 1-year anniversary and are extremely happy. We have plenty of sex, my husband is happy and fulfilled, and it hasn't been the slightest problem in our relationship. So thanks for the kind words and good advice!
