I'm a student of philosophy, I'm learning philosophy online on my philosophy diploma course with Centre Of Excellence, that means a lot to me, and if anyone should do anything to put me down of my education, I shall give them a flogging!
Philosophy, (noun) 1a. pursuit, love, or study of wisdom, esp. of the ultimate reality and the general causes and principles of things, 1b. use of reason and argument in seeking reality, esp. of the ultimate reality and general causes and principles, 2. a discipline comprising of epistemology, metaphysics, aesthetics, ethics, and logic, 3. any personal belief about how to live or how to deal with a situation e.g. : self-sufficiency is his only philosophy, 4. a person's outlook on life, 5. the study of thought, knowledge, the meaning of life etc, 6a. a system of philosophical concepts, and finally, 6b. theory or set of ideas held by a particular philosopher. -philosopher (noun) a student, specialist or teacher of philosophy. -philosophize (verb) to reason in the manner of a philosopher. -philosophic, philosophical (adjectives) -philosophically (adverb).
