You know I'm tired of this all this "I hate men, I'm not like other men" matched equally with "I hate women, I'm not like other women."
Yes. There is a negative male stereotype. Yes, it's perpetuated by the media. But instead of people looking at that and saying "Hey, I'm a man. I'm not like that. The media isn't representing men correctly. I demand it changes its definition of men!" they say "I'm a man that doesn't fit that stereotype. But instead of fighting that stereotype I will accept that stereotype of men and separate myself from my gender."
