I'm a filthy germaphobe

I'm grossed out by other people's "germs" - Mostly contact with anything from their body, including breath / "air" / imagined things that probably don't even exist, for example I hold my breath when anyone gets too close, i put TP on toilet seats even at my own family's house, i can't walk barefoot on most public floors without instinctively scrunching up my feet in disgust.

but, I am filthy myself. I eat off the floor (even in public places, but when no one's looking), i don't wash my hands before eating even when they are visibly dirty, i have this kitchen hand towel that i clean everything with from the dirty floor to the counters to food spills so it's covered in various stains and I haven't washed it in months, I wash my sheets maybe only 1-3 times a year (I usually sleep on the couch and obviously that's never been washed), I like to keep dried up drink spills all over my stuff for sentimental/decorative purposes.

    • Hahah! I know, and I don't mind. That's why it so weird to me that I'm bothered by other things that probably aren't even half as dirty as what I do alone.

Well, most people aren't freaked out by their own germs.

Yeh. I'm kinda a half clean/ half not so clean at home. I eat off my own floor at home (something I just dropped, not something that's been sitting on floor), but not someone else's floor. I don't wash my bedsheets very much (but won't lay in my bed wearing anything filthy). I don't vacuum very often. And I'll go two or three days without showering or changing clothes if I don't go out (only in the winter though, I always shower/change everyday in the summer), but I always shower and put on clean clothes before going out or if someone comes over. But I have my limits, I will never eat while shitting (like one post said), I won't touch food without washing my hands first after using bathroom. And I refuse to eat anything past the expiration date, or anything perishable that's been sitting out at room temperature for more than 2 or 3 hours.
