You are only 19. I regret having started dating even at 17. But then again, the guy was 21 and I didn't know how to deal with the different stages in life we were experiencing. I am at a crossroads with him at the moment, and it is quite weird still, with my being in my senior year of college and his being busy with a "legitimate" career. If anything, be sure you and the other person are in the same stage of life should you date at this age.
