Is it normal that I just lost my virginity to my boyfriend (who is wonderful, by the way, and I had complete control over the matter) but I can't tell my roommate/best friend because I'm afraid she'll judge the crap out of me?
You're 20 and did it with your boyfriend, not some random in a bar. Why would she judge??
If she judges you , even calls you a slut, why does that threaten you? You either respect her and want to keep it status quo, OR you have GIVEN HER the reigns to determine the benchmark for what is good / bad /acceptable / unacceptable for your life. That's a lot of power to grant to someone.
The only person who can make you feel bad about your actions is you. If your friend doesn't like it that's her problem, not yours.
Sure its normal. I have decided not to do such things yet and I've been quite proud of that but I don't look down on people who have AND I still would given the right situation and person. I just always see people who have regretted it with the wrong person and the guy or girl turned out to be a bad person or dangerous even and have a very hard time getting rid of them or produced a kid that they can hardly or ever see. You don't "have" to let your friend know anyway, the only thing that will do is run the risk of her judging like you said or constantly thinking about it. Of course she could be a good friend and not judge but friends don't have to know completely everything. From what it sounds like, this guy is a good find also, nice job! Hahaha....*turns off Artificial Girl 3*
