I am married to a man who is 15 years older than me. When I was 21 and he was 36 it worked out. However, now that I'm in my forties and he is in his sixties it doesn't work so well. That's not to say that it can't, but for us the age difference really shows up now. I wouldn't recommend it to my own children - but if you love him you love him.
Okay, I can see what you are saying. Having to put up with a gray-haired, pot-bellied 60 year old could be depressing when I'm still a reasonably hot 44 year old. But then, you're right, love is willing to overlook such things. But like you, I would never recommend it to anyone. I won't say, c'mon girlies, go for someone twice your age!!! But once love happens, I am not a fan of chickening out.
I'm 18. He's 34. IIN?
