Is it normal that I wonder if i'm high-end autistic despite never being diagnosed as autistic? I'm perfectly functional and intelligent, but I find social situations difficult, often over-react to things, and almost always percieve "help" as an "attack" on me personally.

I also feel like I relate more to people who have already been diagnosed as autistic themselves, more than "normal" people.

Is It Normal?

    You could just have social anxiety. I've had an autism test before but it was negative, it was just that I had social anxiety. So maybe talk to a counsellor about it.

      I never make eye contact. It doesn't feel comfortable. I look at people's mouths.

        Hmm i havent tried that. Its hard for me to think of my words if im looking someone in the eye. Especially if in trying to explain something

      In English, "time" is only a countable noun when it translates as "vez" in portuguese, not "tempo". As you are Brazilian, that explanation should help you understand that particular grammar faux pas.

      Not trying to patronise you by the way, just trying to help you improve your (already very high) level of English.

    Go for a test. They give meds and stuff to some autists to make them a bit better in those situations.
