I loved dogs; now i hate them

I moved into a lovely quiet neighborhood near a state park. Now when people move in, they comment on how nice the quiet is. Then they proceed to let their dogs bark- and bark - and bark. We have tried for years to appeal to people's best side, but we might as well not even exist. I have thoughts that if all the dogs died, how nice it would be. I feel sorry for the dogs, because their owners are the dweebs in this scenario.

    Depending on where you live, isn't there a local council you could report this to? I have a similar problem in what sould be a quiet mountain area, but the barking doesn't go on long enough for the authorities to be prepared to do anything about it

    I very much understand your frustration. I live in shitty apartments currently and all the people around here let their dogs bark nonstop. It's annoying as hell. But I myself have a dog too, and if he barks, he gets scolded and stops. He knows not to bark, but sometimes he gets a bit over excited, but he still gets scolded. Even though there are a ton of stupid people who don't know how to scold and train their dog, I also know a lot of people with very well trained dogs..like myself. So I wouldn't say I want all dogs to die, some dog owners just need to learn.

    I can understand you being frustrated, it is extremely annoying to hear a dog barking constantly. A dog is reflecting their owners and I feel sorry for them because if they are acting like that they obviously are not getting the attention they need. And no I don't mean treats and toys.
