Bah, there are tons of games specifically rated for adults. Nothing's wrong with gaming. I'm 28 and I frequently enjoy playing Skyrim, Far Cry, or gMod's Prop Hunt.
There *are* people who, I think, are a bit ignorant. They assume games are just toys and are for kids only. But games are really just another medium for story telling, just like novels and movies are. Like half of Mass Effect 3, for example, is just cinematics. By playing the game you're essentially learning an intricate story.
Moreover, multiple studies have shown that playing video games is good for the brain, such as improvement of memory, critical thinking, and hand-eye coordination.
In summation, if anyone tells you that you're too old to play games, you should leave that person. You don't need that kind of negativity! :)
