It's a risk because if it doesn't work out your friendship might be too awkward. But then again if she gets a boyfriend your friendship is going to be awkward anyway because you will be wishing it was you by her side. Personally, I'd take the chance, you could be made for each other and I doubt she really feels that way if she made out like that.
