I've been in love with my best friend for over 2 years now and i don't know if she likes me. we are as close as friends could be and we tell each other everything, hug, talk laugh all the things best friends would do. But I've developed feelings and i don't know if she feels the same. is it normal to feel this way?
I've been in the exact same situation and it is fairly normal. And the even better news is there is an amazing way to test whether they have developed the same feelings or not, without them even noticing. The first step is to not act differently towards them or hint in any way at the subject. But the one part you will do differently, which is sneaky but works, is to have just the two of you go to a place by yourselves for a while 'to hang out' and then while she's paying attention to you, simply squat and take a shit on the floor. If she leaves she doesn't feel the same way, but if she stays she does. And you can even test it further even by hanging out with a group of friends, drop trow and simply start pissing on everyone. Your problem's will be solved in no time!

this will haunt you forever unless you make a move seeing how you are already deep in the friend zone a big move will probably scare her off so what you need to do is move in slightly in a relaxed funny manner while at the same time gauging her reaction if she gets offended you can say that you were just kidding around but that will also tell you she doesn't like you that way. a couple ways of doing this is play fully smack her but when you approach her from behind while saying heyo this is a bold move but be ready to play it off as a joke if she likes it maybe does it back to you then she likes you note: careful not to do this in front of people that would laugh at her reaction or other guys that might like her. another way is take her to the movies and do the cheesy yawn put arm around her back if she seems cool with that you can slightly pet her a little bit with that hand look out for a bad reaction if not your good. if she hasn't shown any bad signs and likes the things you do to her playful touches the next time you go out as friends tell her at the end that you would like to kiss her she will only not kiss you at this point if she is shy could be possible if you are in high school or she doesn't like you like that.
