I can see that. I myself like being around people, up to a certain limited point. But I'm enough of an introvert that I soon find myself drained, and in need of withdrawing back into my own private world.

Perhaps you're just more introverted than most. I'd call that normal.

Me too, when I am around people I view them as animals in an open zoo. They are strange yet very predictable. I prefer solitude vs social

I believe it's perfectly normal and who needs other Homo sapiens (humans) when you have a company of a dog or a cat besides at least they don't talk back to you or judge you.
