With my female friendships (not including girls I dated), only one relationship turned into something more. In the beginning I felt she was out of my league and she had a bf already at the time, so I completely put the idea out of my mind that we could ever date.
But we used to study together a lot and she was as intelligent as she was beautiful, it was an intimidating combination. We had a lot of great times together and then one day I think we both knew we had fallen in love with each other.
We had fooled around a bit but I stopped going to her place and cut things off. I wish I could've at least talked to her about it. Fact was that because she was dating this other guy, I really didn't want to compete with him, but I think she might've gone for me.
Anyways, I say go for it, you might fall madly in love with each other as well.
I love him. Is it normal?
