    Sorta an anime-esque situation you got with your "tackle hugs" and hours of cuddling which seems sort of boring. This whole post actually has a fangirlish vibe to it.

    Anyway, seems like a waste of obvious romantic time to go towards nothing, you're basically dating, just make it official and drop the friend guard, you'll probably be happier that way. If you have no plan to be in a relationship, it's just wasted time. In /my own opinion/ nobody is 100% strict straight or 100% strict gay.

      It's obvious they are in a relationship, they just don't fuck and don't want to and that's fine.

      And again, they are in fact being romantic, they're just not fucking.

        A relationship is only a relationship if it's mutually declared to be one by the participants. These two are not in a relationship as OP has stated. I didn't mean that they need to have sex, I just mean they should be declaring it to be what it is. Sex isn't required for a relationship to be a relationship. But it's obviously a romantic friendship, which never works.

          Never? Well that's not true, women especially have romantic friendships which can last for years.

          It's not necessary to declaring oneself to be in a relationship, for it to be a relationship: who invented that rule?
