Fall, f***ers!!!!!!!!!

Well, it's that time of the year, the most wonderful time of the year! I love everything about Autumn, the pumpkin drinks, pumpkin pie, trees colored in brilliant reds, golds, oranges, jacket weather, perfect hiking weather, and ghost stories! I just broke out my crockpot in all my excitement and all my Autumn recipes, butternut squash soup, chicken stew, chilli, potatoe soup, chicken and noodles, bean soup. I'm drinking apple cider as I'm typing this and my fridge is stocked with my favorite pumpkin ale:)

Is anyone else excited? What's your favorite thing about this season?

    Mmmm hot apple cider, crunchy leaves, crisp air, warm pumpkin bread, halloween, thanksgiving, the sound of the fire crackling, ahh, doesn't get any better than Autumn, (even the name is lovely). :)

      Yes, I liked it so much that my only child would have been named Autumn Christine, had my baby been a girl, but I have an Alex Christopher instead!

    Puts you in the mood to cook soups and stews. Just finished a homemade mushroom potato paprikás not long ago. I think it might be the best soup I have ever made.

    Yes, i was just feeling nostalgic about the fall here, because i was living in a place that's basically summer all year long... To me that's depressing, people act like i'm crazy when i say i like snow in the winter, and the seasons... i also like the hiking through brisk air and warm-colored leaves... reminds me of childhood... apple cider is good too, and caramel apples

    Winter, spring, summer and fall, it's all the same thing down here. Other than about 2 weeks around X-mas when the winds blow a bit stronger (Christmas Winds), we don't lose leaves or get snow.
    Certainly, a few more tourists and the temperature cools down to the low 80's from the mid 80's, but other than that it's still paradise, all year round.

    The (near) dead plants! Don't have to mow the lawn anymore and we have no trees in our yard. Die, plants, die! I will enjoy the crackling as I walk on your graves.

    Autumn is only my third favourite. I don't really see the point in it. It feels so nondescript. It's nothing more than the steady decline to winter to me, and I hate winter.

    I adore the summer. It's light and warm in the mornings and the evenings. It rains less. All year round I look forward too it, and I become depressed when it ends.

    I love summer. I like winter. Spring ain't bad, but I don't like fall that much.

    It rains a lot, your car gets dirty all the time, drinking beer doesn't feel as nice as it does in the summer. You wear a jacket in the morning, yet it gets too hot at noon for jackets. Sure there are holidays and a few joys, but my point stands. Summer and winter are awesome!
