You say you grew up with a father who smoked crack and a mother who basically just ignored you so it would make sense that you would have some pretty serious difficulties in life. As far as worse cases, somebody with schizophrenia often times will be totally out of touch with reality or in a constant state of seeing or hearing horrific visions. You seem to have had some problems with paranoia and other things as well, but your not completely out of touch with reality.
