I think it absolutely fascinating when things fall apart. Its why I like chaos and terror. I really want to see a house on fire live. Just to watch someones home burn to the ground. I mean thats a place someone goes everyday, keeps everything they love, and no matter what, they come back to it for better or worse and you can burn it to the ground.
The liberation of it, the unfathered death of something large. Statues crumbling... Could you imagine a giant wave rushing down the road, and it towers so high that you can only see the top by stretching your neck and it crushes you and everything you belong to in a matter of moments. Its just fascinating to realize we are all capable of destruction and its just so empowering.

    Watch the evening local news, get a police scanner, read the daily local paper. Don't do police work but being a news reporter would probably be ok.

    I have the same fascination.
    I almost WANT the world to break into disaster and nuclear warfare, just to see everything destroyed.
    There's a feeling of awe about it. How this world, that many people believe to be so "real" is not stronger than the paper it relies on.
    And yes, it is empowering. It also leaves us helpless. The interplay of the 2 cannot be separated.

      There's nothing more exciting than destroying something, and its so satisfying when its done only for spite.. but the problem with burning the world to the ground is that the ashes don't burn.

    Well, you may have a mental disorder. I too enjoy watching fire and such, but to say you want to see someones home burn down is a bit disturbing.
