I believe a spanking desire is normal as several surveys show that a large percentage of the adult population either fantasize about spanking or being spanked. It's proposed that this desire is NOT aquired from experience but is latent. It is hard-wired into an individual's sexual makeup and if, not suppressed can be a valuable adjunct to a complete sexual repertoire.
