I speak to immigrants and aliens with a fake foreign accent. It probably sounds like Romanian, or some generic eastern european/ Russian. I am American from the south. I think it is fun and easier for foreigners to understand me, regardless of where they're from. How you say, is it ok, you like?

Maybe they are not foreigners.
Maybe they're just fucking with you and using fake accents.
Yea. Everytime I get a call from the Microsoft Support Team telling me that my computer is sending out warnings that I have a virus and for $200.00 they will fix my computer. I talk back to them like I am Rajesh Koothrappali. They just don't get the humor in that one.
Romanian accent, hmmm. I am Romanian and I don't what a Romanian accent is. British people said they thought I'm English until they realized I ask them to repeat when they say "often". That's the weak spot.
I do have an idea of what you might mean by Eastern European tho. Anyways, I'd find it fun and I wouldn't be offended (this word disgusts me *eastern conservativism intensifies*).
I used to wonder about this when some mid-eastern Indian cold calls a USA resident who is from India or one of those places with that accent.
Would the telemarketer/tech support think the person on the other line is mocking their accent or would they know?
I think they can probably tell, you most likely don’t have as good of a fake accent as you think you do and they are probably cringing while speaking to you.
