You shouldn’t have lied but personally I think you should be honest with her. Relationships should be built on trust, tell her your sorry you lied but it was before you knew her and you feel embarrassed about it which is why you denied it before. If she is a decent person she will accept what you say and be pleased you owned up. If she goes off on one and dumps you then she probably wasn’t worth being with in the first place. If she can’t deal with something so minor then how long would it have been before she finds something worth actually breaking up over.
