when i watch the news i laugh when they talk about people dying, even if it is a kid. i laughed when one of my friends died and when my sisters friend died, and when my great grandma broke her hip. i personally am not afraid of death, i do not believe in god. i do believe that death will be beautiful when it arrives.
It's always best to mourn when people are mourning...however...when you are in the company of friends and if you are not being sadistic or creepy...yes death can be very funny. When I die I hope I will be squished by a budweiser semi...then it will be the drink that killed me! Just remember that black humor is not welcome or understood by all and can come off as creepy. So be selective with the crowd you share you sense of humor with.
Whether that's unusual or not, your laughing could be a sort of defense mechanism to keep you from being all torn-up inside emotionally.
I've actually done that quite often. Honestly, it's hard for me to feel bad or sorrow for someone who isn't personal to me - but even when my girlfriend committed suicide I laughed and thought to myself: "she did not."
Just because you don't fear death doesn't mean that you don't fear anything else - such as being alone because people think you're too weird or something. But then again if you say you are totally fearless: Well, good for you.
Death doesn't bother me, but I don't think it's normal to laugh about it.

Hmm, I find your reaction to be pretty normal. There are many reasons why people laugh at deaths and pain. It could be because of trauma, or for pleasure, or pain (self inflicted or not), self defense, confusion, or just plain spontaneous. There doesn't really need to be a reason for it.
For one thing, society tends to separate things into black and white. Moral and immoral. Laughter at a death isn't unusual, nor is it cruel. Many think it is though. I, for one, laughed at some of my classmates stories, like the one about a girl's grandpa -who got crushed under the wheels of a truck.
A person's reaction to deaths is random, they can cry, they can go blank, they can find humor in it, they can grow angry. There are plenty of mental alignments that can TRY to explain why, but not everyone is mentally sick in the head. Then again, we are human, so I guess we are all messed up in a way.
There are also those people who laugh at the death of someone (anyone) and think "oh well" and continue to move on. I'm no expert on the human mind, but there are people who "think" and not "feel" when it comes to experiencing deaths.
I agree with Maikel. It sounds like a defense mechanism, though sometimes we don't notice it. As for death, I think it's great that you embrace death, but don't take it too much in stride or you will find yourself in a dangerous situation.

As far as death being beautiful...hmmmm, well I believe our thoughts can and will take us wherever we want to go. In your case, death will be beautiful. Of course when you say 'death is beautiful', realize that's a very generalized statement - that's like saying 'the grocery store has food'.

My formost thought is that you are quite weak. In times when love and caring should be in the forfront you have failed miserably. Why would anyone think as you do? Do you feel loved? Find someone that you can talk to and cofide in and become the loving being you are deep down beneath the cloak of cowardness.

If you laugh at people who die or get hurt, your normal In my world. I have the same problem. every time I see someone or hear about someone getting hurt or about someone dying, I laugh so hard I cry! people who know I do this think I'm crazy. My sister is the same way.

OMG LOOOOL I have the same problem... I had an image of my boyfriend getting hit by a truck... I was in tears laughing so much it hurt. I couldn't breath, I thought it was one of the most funniest things in the world.
Then shortly after I had an image of my friend getting stabbed and I did the exact same thing again xD
I thought there was something seriously wrong with me... I'm actually laughing remembering thsi right now.. And I can't watch and horrors because I think they're funny

It depends. Honestly I find death funny to a degree, though my sense of humor can on occasion be dark. The show Deadly Women is hilarious to me. It's women who kill, with poor reenactments and all the women who get caught goof up horribly. The stupidity of the reenactments and their crimes make me laugh. I don't know, I find humor in death depending on the kind. Finding every death you can imagine funny? Even people who are close to you? Are you sure this isn't a troll question?

I do this too. Sometimes it depends on the situation. When people hurt themselves it makes me laugh... I guess I'm a bit sadistic.
I think that is kind of sad and pathetic - that you would have no feeling for the loss of friends' lives, or empathy for the bereaved or injured. I guess you are just emotionally stunted - except when considering yourself. While death & suffering of others is meaningless, for you it will be "beautiful." In sum: a shallow hypocrite.
why would i try to look "cool" on the internet. I have zero fear of death and i know it will be beautiful. I am not saying that i want to die today, i will die when i die, but it shouldnt be something that one fears. If i feared death i would be afraid everyday, because you have a pretty good chance of dieing everyday, anytime, anywhere.I am not a heartless person or an imbecile, i am just a person who thinks in a logical way. It's the same with me to I think we both under stand that we will die and every one else will die to we are realilistic and I will belive there is a god if some one gives me scientific proof that he is real

You do know, by laughing at people's death and by lacking something as natural as self preservation, It doesn't mean you're strong right? By having a (disorder) it means that you are not normal, it means that you are not perfect and if you are not perfect you are imperfect, people tend to believe that people with temper and anger problems are strong, if its a PROBLEM then its not strength you are more likely to put a proper beating on someone when you are calm than when you are angry, and enraged people can easily be knocked out if you know how to deal with them.
are you laughing because you find news about people dying to be entertaining? because then yeah you're sick.. but if you are laughing and don't feel necessarily happy when hearing about someone dying, you sound normal. laughing may be the way you handle that type of stress/bad news. i know when i hear about someone getting hurt or whatever i do laugh & for me its out of nervousness. maybe you're the same way or perhaps you're just truly disturbed. i'd like to think its the former.
