I know this probably doesn't make sense, but I know I'm conventionally 'ugly'. Trust me, I've been told - I've got a big nose and jaw. But at the same time I think I can be pretty ... I think it's because I know myself; I know the personality behind the face I see, and that changes my perception. Basically if I'm amongst other girls or in the dating world or whatever I've got no chance because I'm the ugliest one there. But maybe if someone knew me personally, their perception would change too. And I'm not just saying this, I genuinely believe beauty's on the inside with others as well.

    This reminds me of a friend I had in highschool. Not many found her that attractive, but since she was my friend and I knew her personality, which was great, I thought she was pretty. I still think she is.

    I know just what you mean. The people I find most attractive are ones who aren't cookie cutter beauties, like Tilda Swinton. But the thing that makes her gorgeous to me is that she's really intelligent and well-spoken. If she was dumb or mean spirited, I'd probably start to pick on all her features and see them as flaws.

    There's a part on that show The Office that really sums it up lol, Michael is mad at Jim and he goes: "When I'm mad at you, I don't see YOU anymore, all I can see is how big and gross the pores on your nose are."

    Besides....the friends I have who may not be the first choice for a modeling career are the ones I most want to hang with and who are the ones I can trust the most.

      I'm socially anxious, I can't even tell who I am beneath it anymore :P I don't think it's my looks that make me nervous.
