      • Yes the British can. I use spell check because British English is not my first language.
British English is just alot easier for me to understand compared to say American English.

        Scots is my first language.

        • Scotland is part of Great Britain. He wasn't a geography teacher either was he?

          • Scotland being part of great Britain. Doesn't mean we speak the same Language as England.
Scotland we have 2 official languages Scots and Gaelic.
And Great Britain is not a country. Great Britain is a island that contains 3 counties, Scotland, England, & Wales.
Don't forget that Wales still speaks Welsh. :)

            • Scots is a dialect of English, not a language, which is why anyone who speaks English can understand people like Billy Connolly or Lewis Capaldi, and anyone with an account on this website can understand your comments.

I can't believe i'm having to explain this to another human being.

    • You've probably corrupted your spell checker. Please correct it. There's no British English word like "infrunt" - it's *in front*.

      • My spell check is Google Keyboard. In front and infrunt are both correct. No red lines. Lol
