I keep seeing small flashes of movement (like bugs) in my peripheral vision

Am I getting paranoid or something?? I hate bugs a lot. I'm constantly wary of them to a point that I keep thinking I see something but it's literally nothing at all. Whenever I see some small dark splotch my mind immediately assumes bug until further inspection.

The yes/no question is about the movements but I also hear things I think about too much. If I'm not wearing headphones the discord notification sound is smaller/subtle so I keep thinking I hear it when there was nothing. It's usually worst when I'm constantly expecting to hear it (waiting on a reply). Like I'll keep looking up and checking to see if maybe I missed the notification sound.

I get distracted really easily though (ie ADHD) so when I'm doing something I'll often randomly look around or start thinking about something else. but I'm not sure if the flashes of movement thing is related. then again, if I've just killed a fly or seen one but it flew off, I'll keep hearing a hint of buzzing.

Might be an early sign of schizophrenia. Check with a doctor.

You should possibly see a doctor about that.
