    "Today is the tomorrow you were promised yesterday" all that is saying is that on the day previous to this one when you were referring to tomorrow, it is now today.

        Yeah, so you see, the saying is using figurative language it cannot be interpreted in literal terms. A bit different from your claim there was NOTHING figurative about it.

          As was mine :) those cliche expressions employ figurative language in order to be evocative to the reader.

            Replying with "whatever"when in a discussion is very juvenile. You either agree or you state the reasons you disagree. Otherwise don't start the argument to begin with. Come on, were both adults here, right?
