  • I know how you feel about the job hunt. I remember applying at like 50 different jobs, and I was lucky to hear back from 5. Then I realised I had forgotten to include "bilingual" on my resume. After upon doing so, I heard from like 5 different places within two days! So having a second language often helps. It certainly does in Canada! Now to find a WELL-PAYING job... that's another story...

    Good luck! :)

    • Yeah, I am going to be blunt and honest here.

I should not have to learn the beaner language to get a job here in the United States. I think it is rather sad on Tuesday where I had to sit and wait for a receptionish who couldn't do her job worth a damn but was hispanic and could speak that god awful language. I am seriously thinking of going to school just to learn it although I don't want to.

Yeah, I will continue trying and won't give up. I am sure one of my many job applications I put in today should work.

I'm not a racist for saying that either Tygertheskank, I have a right to be annoyed with a different culture's ideas as you do being one of them toward us.
