            The birdies are comin'
            So Tommy should leave
            But not to the cellar
            Check Tommy's sleeve

            Yes he has smarts
            And oh he is cautious
            But what will unfurl
            Will make minions quite nauseous

            Tommy will wait
            With a twinkling eye
            And pluck many birds
            Straight out of the sky

            Down to the cellar
            Tommy will take them
            Tie them all up
            Burn them and rape them

            And when he is done
            He'll dig some deep holes
            And bury the birdies
            But keep all their souls

            Then he will sit
            And think for a while
            Of dead little birdies
            With that crooked cat smile

            So yes they will die

              The gauntlet is thrown
              cats and birds gone to war
              I've watched some cartoons
              and seen this before

              Birdie tried to make peace
              but Tommy wanted to boast
              that fat olive branch
              made a fine scratching post

              I'm a canny feller,
              I know 'bout tommy's ilk
              for a cat can be bought off
              for a saucer of milk

              The world soon at war
              as they peck, claw, and parry
              will the throne be a kitty condo
              or a sexy aviary?

              The question remains
              the winner's a riddle
              will the birds win the day
              or will they be tender vittles?

              But I'm no dumbass,
              I'm a war profiteer
              it's a shiny new car wash
              or a working fish pier

              So I'm stiring up trouble
              it seems pretty neat
              to view the whole fray
              from my comfy catbird seat.
