I judge people with tattoos

I'm fine with one or two, but, more than that looks awful, unprofessional, and desperately seeking attention.

My niece has too many, and keeps getting them. Has an internship, and even my sister told her..You better cover those up for work/internship, and definitely when you get an interview for a regular job. Of course, coming from mom, the advice was taken as criticism. I told her the same thing, that when she has an interview, the burgeoning arm sleeve better be covered up.

I like how they look well some of course some people get weird stuff done. If I did it for attention I’d pick something that wasn’t as permanent. I want a sleve but not like I’ll walk around with one sleve up showing off my arm waiting for looks. Sometimes I think maybe just a leg tat so it’s not so noticable. I don’t like attention and don’t think it makes me look cool I’d do it for myself as something I want. Makes me happy then who cares on others opinions. If there’s something to maybe boost my confidence because I’m happy on something I did then Ima do it. Go ahead and judge me.

I’m a woman, I have one tattoo on my arm of my cat. I got it because I’m a very anxious and depressed person and a lot of times, the only thing that gets me through it is my cat. He needs me for his survival. I got it so he’s always with me and I won’t have to look very far for a reason to keep going. All I have to look down at my arm and know that he’s always with me. Sounds stupid but true. I didn’t do this for attention. I don’t go show it off, but if someone asks about it, I will tell them. Good tattoos are a work of art and can be used to memorialize something important to you. One thing I don’t like about people getting tattoos, is a lot of them don’t have any meaning towards them. If you ask “So why did you get it?” and they say “I don’t know” or “It looked cool” then it was probably just for attention. But most people who get tattoos don’t do it for attention. I personally wouldn’t get something that wasn’t important to me inked on my body for the rest of my life just for attention.

I have to agree with you on this one. I don't see it as art like inked people justify it. I see it as a way for people to get attention.

Judge people on WHAT they have tattooed on them, not that they HAVE tattoos.

I dunno about men, because I've heard women say that tattoos are attractive, but when a woman has tattoos it just looks awful.
