I've never understood the need for the term pansexual. Bisexual covers it imho, although I guess if you don't mind trans people that could be a distinguishing difference.

Anyway, leaning to a gender doesn't really change the fact that you dont limit yourself.

    Pan away.

I thought pansexual had to do with the people who claim they have no gender or the ones who claim to have nonexistant genders.

        pan·sex·u·al

        /panˈsekSH(əw)əl/

        adjective

not limited in sexual choice with regard to biological sex, gender, or gender identity.

So, I was right, then? It appears that the difference is the fact that pansexual includes "gender identity", while bisexual does not.

Bi and pan are the same thing. Just people always want to come up with new labels.

I remember when it was called "omnisexual"

I know they mean the same thing. "Gender identity" is just a fancy term for pretending to be a gender that doesn't exist.

Hmmm well that definition refers to other peoples gender and not the pan persons. I don't really know but perhaps you're right.

I think people should just fuck whoever and not worry too much about labels.

Yeah, pansexuals are just bisexuals with extra steps.

If you self identify as pansexual that means you are both bisexual and a moron.

Yes it's normal for a female to be sexually attracted to males

As someone who was hetero for a long time, once I had my first experience with another man, I found it to be so sensual and wonderful. I guess I can only speak for right now, but I am finding that I enjoy having sex with my BF very much right now.

Why do people feel the need to put themselves in all these categories in the first place?

That’s not pansexual. Pansexual is having no care about gender at all, you would be bisexual. (Bisexual DOES cover non-binary people, by the way. But being bisexual could mean you have a preference)

Women being attracted to masculine qualities is as old as humanity. It's completely normal.

Loooool. I'm female but exploring my gender identity.

Literally you state the gender you are, and then say you figuring it out. You are female. Deal with it. Explore your sexuality instead because that's actually something that can change with time.

I have been exploring my gender identity as well. I am trying to understand what really makes a man and woman other than constructed labels created by society to categorize two types of Homo Sapiens

Oooh let me help your research.

            Male = born with cock

Female = born with no cock

Mention me when you win your Nobel prize :)

Oh wow! Who would have thought?!

What does that mean for someone who likes what society calls them, but not their body parts?

              Comment Hidden ( show )
          • bigbudchonga

If you want to be rid of the constructive labels then look at factual, definable parameters, dude. There are obvious biological facts, but then there are also relative repercussions. E.G. higher male aggressiveness, females being more caring, stronger male body, etc, etc.

Gender's been bastardized in recent years, and has undergone a series of warping in the attempt of creating a social construct devoid of biological parameters, or really any solid, accepted description.

If you want to try and get past the constructed labels then look back to the thousands of years of history and how men and women have behaved during those times.

LGBT is orientation not gender. There is two genders, male and female. Bisexual is the same as pansexual. Anyone who self identified as a pansexual is a mouth breathing moron.

  • Of course it is, ya ding dong. It's called preference. And any preference is absolutely normal on a subjective level.
