Sorry for bumping old thread. Does any1 have proof staying awake this long is not possible? I've currently been awake for 100 hours. I've had a few micro naps in the last 24 hours none lasting longer than a minute or 2. I know this because I'm playing games on my phone and wake with it a foot from my face as if I'm still using it, so I can gage by game progress if I've been asleep longer. Obviously I'm having mild hallucinations and I'm not functioning very well in general. I can honestly say I do this reguarly and for times longer, up to 140+ hours. Increasingly getting worse symptoms until eventually I shut down, basicly pass out. I'm just curious where anyone got these theorys you die or something severe happens. In some cases I assume something may fail or cause complications. In my first hand experience I've stayed awake over 100 hours so many times I can't put a number on it. Secondly I'm obviously using something to do this which is causing as much or more issues than the lack of sleep. Not hydrating eating very little and nothing healthy by the end I'm fairly drained need lots of sleep and it takes between 1-3 weeks to recover to a normal kind of function. Basicly I'm saying you can stay awake these long periods regularly and apart from needing time to gather your thoughts eat good food hydrate and vitamins ect you can keep this up for years spending 240 hours, 10 days a month not sleeping at all, example twice a month every month for a year stay awake for 120 hours. I know for a fact this is possible, not reccomended but you would be surprised how easy it is. Do not do this it's stupid, but yes it's possible I'm not lying I challenge someone to prove me wrong.
