Hey it's ok. Nothing to beat yourself up about. I know that it sucks. I felt very awkward my first semester of college, because everyone seemed to have known someone. My advice is to find a club or something of that sort. It worked for me. Also keep a positive attitude and maybe your floor mates will come around, and be friendly to you. Also there's no shame in transferring next year. My current room mate this year hated his old school, and transferred here and likes it here much more. You're totally normal just in a rough patch.
