I have trouble following rules

Ever noticed when you join some communities the moderators will make up rules as they go almost? There will be like 100 mods in a 200 person community and next thing you know theyre muting to talk over you or they say "you can say nigga but not nigger" then you use the word "nigga" in non racist context and some other mod bans you. I feel that sometimes these little communities get too big on having all these mods and they start micro managing EVERYTHING. To the point where someone slow like me cant even help but get in trouble because im too slow to behave right. It comes easy to some but ill be myself and not try to start shit snd still manage to break every rule imaginable. Why cant these little communities just be more personable and not some petty and up tight

I've noticed Reddit can be really bad about this. The most annoying thing for me though is the "Your post has been removed because your account doesn't have enough karma". I get they want to weed out trolls, but some people are not frequent posters or are using a throwaway account.

Also, I think when it comes to being admins or moderators, some people develop a huge power complex and become control freaks and go over the top with it. I've noticed this in Facebook groups, where people seem to think being the admin or moderator of a group makes them a god and they constantly wig out on everyone and look for conflict.

As friend Brown said, power goes to their heads and they act like pocket dictators.
