  • These are classic signs of OCD. These compulsions are techniques you have acquired to deal with stress and anxiety. It's a way your mind deals with the inherent unpredictability of life. You have neatly divided life up into "good and evil" and these evil forces can be mitigated by your rituals.
    It sounds like it's in its early stages but what will happen over time is your world will become smaller and smaller. As your anxiety goes untreated, more stresses will require more complex rituals to off-set them. Understand that at it's core, OCD is a reaction to stress an anxiety. There is treatment available and you are not alone in this struggle. Best of luck to you.
