I used to have terrible OCD myself.
But I no longer have it, and I refuse to believe it as a "mental disorder", which does nothing but hinder someone.
If you stop counting things, nothing bad will happen to you.
I know this because I stopped counting, and.. well.. nothing bad happened, and now I always remember that.
You won't have it for long. I promise you.
There is a book called "Zen, and the art of happiness".
It teaches you that every single thing that you experience, is good for you, and can never be bad for you.
I have OCD, to a freakish extent, is it Normal?
