I agree, I've given up trying to lose weight after being fat since birth and then for most of my life except when dangerously ill or badly stressed.
I eat healthily and not greedily, exercise every day and I only worry about my weight if I notice my clothing gets a bit tight, then I exercise a bit more for a while and hardly ever have to make clothing alterations or throw out too-tight clothing.
I don't reckon it's about will power actually, any more than giving up smoking or other addictions is .... for me it's more about caring about myself and my kids & grandkids to want to live a long & healthy life and not focussing on the fact that I'm "giving up" something.
Also, don't waste energy putting yourself down if you "fail" and be patient with yourself, it's not easy to change habits but it can be done, it just doesn't happen overnight.
I have no will power
