It’s not “normal”, but it is NOT shameful either. I’m not sure what you’re going through exactly, but I do think that you MIGHT be an alcoholic. Or maybe not, who knows.
I’m not a “real” alcoholic personally, but if you were to see me at my worst then it would be damn hard to tell the difference.
I’ve also had many empty alcohol bottles in my bedroom. I’m just sneaky enough to bury that shit and put on a clean and “happy” face for the world regardless. This is almost worse than what you’re doing, really.
There is honesty in the troubles that you face. You have that shit laying out for anybody to see, whereas I hide it like a coward.
I don’t know you so I can’t say what you’re going through, just know that you don’t need to feel like crap about it.
