    The only way I would eat a dog or cat would be in a survival situation. I would kill it if it isn't my dog, but I wouldn't dare kill my own. I'm too attached and would find any other way to feed myself and my dog. Now, if my dog was already dead because of whatever happened that caused the survival situation, I would probably eat him if no other option is available, but it would not be easy for me.
