ah, yes. drawing hands is very difficult for me as well. my art teacher said it was one of the hardest body parts to draw. i'm personally terrible at everything i draw, but hands are by far the hardest. so yes, i would say this is normal.
I have a REALLY hard time drawing hands on hips!!
