Can't help with the name of the phobia, but... I can certainly understand why you are fearful of them choking since they did once. I would think that instead of staying away while they are eating that you would want to be near them to be sure they don't choke again and if they do, you can help them. It would kill me if something happened to my dog like choking on food and I wasn't there to help him. Is it really the fear of him choking again, or perhaps the fear that you won't know what to do if he does?? You can talk to your vet who will be more than happy to demonstrate to you how to help him should it happen.
