I have a dark theory

Ever heard of the season's? You know, spring, summer, fall, and winter;what if I told you there's only one season? Y'all probably be like the hell ya mean, only one season?! Well the only season is winter.

What if I told you that Winter suffers depression, which is why it's so cold and gloomy. It eventually got tired of being cloudy and decided to get help. When Winter got the help it needed, it got prescribed antidepressants. Winter takes the medication and it doesn't see results right away. During mid May, Winter started to be happy and full of life. This doesn't mean Winter was always happy though; it will still had gloomy days. Fast forward to 3 and a half months, Winter is as happy as ever until it noticed there was no more antidepressants. The panicked season was starting to have withdrawls. These withdrawals consisted of cloudiness, emotional breakdowns, and increased fatigue. Finally Winter gave up and like that, the depression won over the helpless season as the cycle continues.

What did you think about this theory? I had a dream about this last night.

You sure have a vivid imagination.
But seasons are just related to the distance between Earth and the Sun. Some countries don't even have four seasons.

Having a wild imagination is nice. And while it is true depression is more pronounced in autumn and winter, its different for everyone.

Personally, I got minor depression throughout most of the year.

Dude, you sound like you may have been a pagan priest in another life. Idk if you know what the Greeks thought about why there was winter; but the sentiment and structure of your story reads like how I imagine long-past generations, born into the modern age with some technology, but no real understanding of the universe, would mythologize in order to rationalise things.
