No where in the bible does it say you can't use birth control or have an abortion. People just assume shit.
That's not religion that's the people blaming their choices and decision on their religion.
And be fruitful and multiply was said after he created the first man and woman. He told THEM to multiply not everyone else.
I hate how people talk shit about religion when they know absolutely nothing about it.
Well I actually know quite a lot about the Bible and I post all the time about nonsence that is not actually in the Bible, or completely quoted out of context. I never said any of this was in the Bible. But many religious people don't get their information from the Bible, they get it from preachers and pastors and priests and the like who often do spew this type of nonsence. These are people who are expected to know what they are talking about, and people trust that they do, but are often just pushing an agenda.
That is my biggest problem with orginized religion and going to church. No other book would you spend 30 years having someone explain and interpret it for you every Sunday. Just like any other book, read it yourself.
Omg you're in my mind right now lol. I thought you were going to say everyone who believes in religion is stupid etc etc. I think anyone who just believes in a religion because they were brought up that way or told stories about it is just following the crowd. Do you're own research, study your religion. Don't have someone put how they interpenetrate something into your head. Read it on your own and make your own personal connection with it.
That's why I don't like going to church because the priest / preacher only reads 1 tiny paragraph from the bible than goes on a 10 minute rant about what it "means" and tells stories about his life that connects with the passage. And then we spend about 30 minutes just singing.. and I come out of church like what just happened I just wasted an hour of my life? Church has changed so much over the years. :/
I have 12 kids! IIN?!
