I feel the same way. I love animals, and I am pretty civil to most people, but I abhor young children. I just took a week long trip with my brother and sister and niece. The girl is 2, and adorable to everyone but me. Whenever she mispronounces words and is happy, I get angry. When she whines and cries, all I want to do is scream at her to shut the fuck up. I dream of pushing her down and laughing while she cries. I wish I wasn't like this, but I am. I guess some people don't like kids. To those of you who are aghast by this, I get a kick out of that as well. I hate kids younger than 8, and don't intend to ever have children, because I would probably hurt them. We aborted our last child. It was probably for the best.
