I think it's normal, I feel the same except I've never joked about suicide, but I didn't really mind those kind of jokes until I developed depression and got suicidal myself. Because my suicidal tendencies are getting worse, whenever I hear or see someone make a joke of it I just get so upset and angry, I just wanna punch the person making the joke and everyone who laughs at it.
I hate suicide jokes.
