I think sandals are only appropriate for swimming recreation areas, otherwise feet should be covered up. I don't want to see some fat bitch's ugly little painted toe nails or some dude's hairy chimp foot knuckles, especially while I'm eating.
Well for me it's kinda weird but I guess I'm no one to judge, I also got my "weird" things. For example, I can't stand watching people eat. Anything, doesn't matter. To a certain extent I can tolerate it but only if I'm not looking directly and it helps if I'm distracted by something else (like thinking about other stuff), but all the chewing, the swallowing GOD i hate to even think about it, so yes it may be normal to have "things"...? I don't know, just don't do anything stupid about it and try to ignore it when you see it.
