I know exactly how you're feeling, I was emotionally and verbally abused as a kid and it got worse with every year.
A parent like your non might not listen to you if you try to talk to her, but you should try.
After all, you ARE AN ADULT, and you have the rights to make your own disision.
Your mother has no right to control and ignore you like that, no matter how old you are.
My advice is to get out of that house as soon as possible, ignore your mom says ing that you need to wait 4 more more years. You are an adult and adults can make their decisions on their own. If all fails, talk to someone else you know about your problem.
And if she ever hits you, IN ANY WAY. Call the police IMMEDIATELY.
Go out of your confront zone, be yourself, achieve your goals, go to the school that you want, and do t let anything stop you. You Can Do It.
Life is too short to be unhappy. :)
im indian, our parents hit us all the time. they have the 'right' to. police doesnt say anything. plus in our culture, it isnt easy to move out. im 18 and wont get a job to pay for my college im currently in plus the money i need to support myself independatly. moving out without her consent is next to impossible anyway. idk how to explain it in our culture, its hard, you cant do things your way, your parents control your life. it sucks
