No! They gave birth to you and this is how you repay them? Shame on you!

You should look at family as an "investment."
Don't burn bridges that you will need later.
Tougher times are ahead and they are the only ones that will get your back unless you have a friend that would die for you.
If you do have a freind that would die for you, then the two of you should go start an internet business togethr b4 it is too late.

What sort of things do they ask you to do that you do want to? It would help people voting on your post to know. Sometimes our parent's requests can be rational and sometimes not. You could just be lazy and selfish, or they could be abusive jerks. How are we suppose to know if how they are treating you is Normal or not, if you don't explain what is REALLY going on?

It's normal for any kid to not want to do EVERYTHING they are asked, but to "hate" their family because of it is probably not normal.

It is normal to not like who you are related to. I know there are members of my family that I can not stand. We are born into a family. That does not mean that we have to like them. It just means that either you are with them to learn or to teach them something.

Yes, it's very normal. Even more normal if you are yet young. Or else we're both just weird :P
